The steps of freeze-drying pet food mainly include the following stages:

1.Raw material selection and pretreatment: Choose high-quality raw materials, such as fresh chicken, duck, beef, lamb, fish and other high protein meat ingredients, as well as vegetables, fruits and other fiber and vitamin rich ingredients. The freshness and quality of raw materials directly affect the taste and nutritional value of the final product. Pre treatment includes cutting, cleaning, blanching, and sterilization. Cut into small pieces or shredded meat suitable for pets, clean to remove surface impurities and dirt, blanch to remove blood and fishy smell, and finally sterilize by high temperature or ultraviolet light.

2.Pre freezing stage: Put the pre processed ingredients into the freezer, and the freezing time is usually 8-12 hours or even longer. The pre freezing temperature is usually below -30 ℃ to ensure that the moisture in the ingredients is completely frozen.

3. Sterilization and packaging: Freeze dried ingredients need to be subjected to cold sterilization treatment (such as irradiation or ozone sterilization), and then sealed in a nitrogen environment to isolate oxygen and moisture and extend shelf life.
